  • Profile of Bob Quee

     

    Bob is a solicitor with many years of advocacy experience with exceptional high success rate in numerous appeals at the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal (First Tier and Upper Tribunal). He has practised Immigration and asylum Law in the UK since 2001 and is one of the founding proprietors of Quee &Mayanja Solicitors.

     

    In 1998, Bob graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor of Law Honours Degree. LLB (Hons). He holds a Master of Laws degree (LLM) from the University of Wolverhampton (UK) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from De Montfort University in Leicester (UK). He has worked for many solicitors firms in the UK, including formerly Mathis Solicitors, Noden Solicitors, Sheikh and Co Solicitors and Lawrence Lupin Solicitors. He has in the past worked as a part-time lecturer at law.

     

    Bob is passionate about undertaking his best for his client’s at all times. He is upfront in his advice and a legal warrior in terms of pursuing matters where the merits and justice of the case so demands. He has excellent drafting skills, many years of experience in drafting immigration reconsideration grounds, judicial review High Court / Upper Tribunal grounds and permission to appeal to the Court of Appeal grounds. He has over the years successfully obtained numerous injunctions against removals for numerous clients. Bob is amenable to taking urgent instructions in relation to emergency immigration work such as urgent bail applications at the Immigration Tribunal, Immigration and asylum Agency Advocacy work and judicial review emergency claims at the High Court / Upper Tribunal seeking injunctions against imminent removals from the UK.

     

    Bob’s resolute stance in detailed case preparations, advocacy skills and benevolent empathy has earned him the respect of many lawyers and even judges. He has the admiration and commendation of many experienced immigration judges in terms of his advocacy skills at the First Tier and Upper Tribunal. He is also very approachable.

     

    Bob’s areas of practice incorporate Immigration, asylum, human rights and nationality law, family law, civil litigation, employment law, family law and criminal law. Civil litigation proceedings including disputes over property and applications for sale of property dispute litigation proceedings is an increasing area of Bob?s litigation practice.

     

 

Profile of George Mayanja

 

George is a solicitor and one of the founding directors of Quee &Mayanja Solicitors. He has a wealth of experience that he has gained over the years in all aspects of immigration, nationality and asylum related work. George’s experience of immigration related work began in 2002 and has over the years assisted many clients in respect of their immigration matters.

 

George prides himself in providing a highly professional legal service delivered with the client’s best possible outcome at the forefront. He is a driven lawyer that places particular emphasis on the quality of service delivered, good customer care and approaches his work with the utmost integrity.

 

George graduated from the University of East London, England (LLB Hons) in 2000 and completed his Legal Practice Course at the Metropolitan University (formerly London Guildhall University) in London, England the following year.

 

He has in the past worked for firms in London which include Dhillon &Co Solicitors and Sheikh &Co Solicitors where he was a level 2 Accredited (IAAS) supervisor at both firms and excelled in his work.

 

George is dedicated, passionate and has represented clients and the Immigration First-tier and Upper Tribunals where he has obtained positive outcomes for many clients that he has represented through his hard work, excellent case preparation and determination to succeed.
